We Are Dedicated to Empowering and Supporting Women to Build a Stronger Community
Ukrainian Women Advancement Association is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting women. As a newly created organization, it is our hope to create meaningful relations to change the lives of women in our community. Through our mentorship program, Ukrainian newcomers will be matched with a peer in the local community, to start a new path in a their new place to come home.

Our team of dedicated volunteers make this organization possible; investing their valuable time and energy to brighten the futures of those women new to Alberta from the Ukraine. It's a pleasure to observe the impact of their efforts as it creates positive change through not only our community but also beyond.
MENTORSHIP
Lead, Empower and Support
Mentorship leads to empowerment, relationships and joy for both the mentor and mentee. Common areas of focus including navigating life in Canada, practicing the English language and exploring pathways to achieving career goals on their new journey in Canada.
